Erm hello again fellow head-fier's, hope I'm not asking too many questions lately but I really appreciate the great advice I get. Makes it kinda hard not to ask with such good responses! Anyway to the amps. I've narrowed it down between these two. I'm very confident I can get them together and working. I'm curious though which will sound better. By better I mean which amp will hold tighter. I still want a tube sound, but not sloppy in the lower bass. However I'd prefer a little rolled off treble as I'm using dt990's 600 ohm. I'd like more pronounced mids but I don't want to lose clarity. So if anyone has heard both and can compare the sound signatures that'd be great! I know Skylab likes the bijou better but only slightly. And from what I understand changing a few of the capacitors on the tu-882 make it sound a lot better. I can change out some tubes or other components as Long as they aren't ridiculously expensive. Soo I think I covered my description.... go!
