Hello Head-fi,
i am looking for a new headset for my desktop. i will primarily use it for music(mainly heavy metal), secondary gaming. i don't need to have a competitive edge in games or anything, i just need a good unidirectional mic.
here is some of my requirement:
1. decent music audio quality
2. need to have a decent unidirectional mic(my mechanical keyboard is very very loud 
)
3. between range of $50-$100(i know it's not a lot of budget to work with, but i can't spare much more than this)
4. can be purchased in Canada(Ontario)
i am currently looking at the corsair HS1A(59.99 after sale), which many (PC hardware) website have given decent reviews on. however, i do not trust these PC hardware review sites for headphones(bought some of the product they recommended and was greatly disappointed), so i am asking for 2nd opinion on head-fi 
i have a creative x-fi Xtreme Music, would i need an headphone amp to power the corsair HS1A? if so, what is a nice and cheap headphone amp i can pick up?
any help would be greatly appreciated!
