Hi, I will be able to borrow an se530 from a friend for a few months till i can get the jh3a and i was wondering what player to use with it. I dont want to go amped. I was wondering if anyone has heard the se530 or 535 there isnt much difference with the two players mentioned above and what would sound the best? I dont care about size and price of either of the players. Greetings, Anouk,

Apple players sounds very good with Shure earphones.

If size = Nano6G

If more better sound quality, screen, battery, games/apps, camera = you know what i mean:)

I really dont know why you mentioned an apple player while the only two in my list of hcoices were the hifiman and the clip. I already have an iphone but the clip is known for its good sound as is of course the hifiman. I want to know which sounds best/has the best synergy with the shures. Greetings, Anouk,

well, the hm601 has a roll off high so it wouldn't really goes well with the shure (i guess)

The clip could be nice since it has EQ and flat freq respond

also you can clip it on your shirt so you don't need  to use the extension cable with se530

However, i have to agree with Berkovajazz here an iPod goes well with shure se530

iPod's high make up for shure missing high

and you are going to use them for only short period of time why bother buying new player
