Recabling my Shure e4. Is the Mogami Quad Mic a good choice?

Hey guys

I need to recable my beloved Shure e4 and I came across this post: http://www.sgheadphones.net/index.php?showtopic=9311

I was thinking of using that Mogami w2893 pro quad mic cable with my IEMs but I need a little help here first.

Is that cable too stiff to use with a pair of IEMs? How are the microphonics on these?

Do any of you guys have a better cable recommendation I should use in my project? Any experiences doing this maybe?

Thanks to you all in advance

If you that way, it'd be ok. The 2893 conductors are small enough for IEMs cable.

great to hear that. Should I remove the outer shell of the cable?

Yes, definitely.
