Anyone know why the pictures arnt just showing up and you have to click the link so see them?

Here ya go, you can copy the source of this post if you want and edit your own, then I'll delete it... If you aren't sure how to get to the source, click the link to quote me and reply, and then in the editor window in the top left corner hit source. There are six lines with links and stuff that you wanna copy. Then cancel, go edit your post, and change to source view again, delete whatever is already there and paste the 6 lines of links.

Edit: No problem ^_^

Awesome, Thanks for your help. So far this thing sounds awesome i dont have a whole lot to compare it to other than my NuForce Icon uDAC-2 and so far all i can say is wow it sounds great with these denon's. Currently listening to tool aenima will listen to much more and keep everyone updated of how i think it sounds with some rock albums.

How limited is the volume control with cans like the D2000?

I have been listening to everything at about half volume with zero distortion, I imagine i could go maybe 3/4 volume but my fricken ears might hurt after that.

What's feeding the amp? I see some variant of a Music Streamer there, but I can't tell which one it is.

The input to the amp has a big effect on where you put the volume control: http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/schiit/11.html

I'm using a Headroom Micro DAC which is fairly high output, especially compared to a computer line out/etc., and I have the volume at 11:30 with HE-6 planars and it is cranking.

Is the Music Streamer II+ a good dac for the Schiit Lyr if your only going to use a laptop or desktop as your source? And would it only make sense to get the Lyr only if your have an ortho headphone? I currently have the fiio e9/e7, dt 990/600, d7000, and looking to upgrade eventually. My only sources are a Macbook Pro and iMac.
