Some help please

Hi Everyone

 

I have used this site for a while now but just joined. I am looking for some help. I listen to a lot of music on the move and have ripped my CD collection (750+ and always growing) in apple lossless.

 

However I am getting fed up of Itunes and being tied to apple, my 160gb classic is playing up and I know I can get better sound. I am thinking about moving to the cowon X7, it seems to have the large storage I need and would appear to be a better player than the POD. Is there an easy way to convert all my files as I believe the cowon wont play apple lossless?

dbpoweramp batch converter will work, it's part of the CD-ripper if you have that installed. You might also have to download the relevant codecs but i'm not sure, it's been a while since I downloaded it.
