Well, in 2010 a lot of good metal albums have been released, so let's see which are the favourite ones. Feel free to post videos!

In my opinion, the title can only be for Agalloch, with their tremendous work: Marrow of the Spirit. An absolute masterpiece for Black/Doom lovers.

I have also loved the releases from other bands such as Eluveitie, Burzum, Shining, Orphaned Land...

I'm ashamed to say I still haven't heard that. Pitiful on my part.

So obviously, my palette is limited. Sill I'll go High on Fire - Snakes for the Devine

I can't believe that I forgot to mention it! Écailles de Lune is also a fantastic CD! Undoubtably in my Top 5 of the year.

Good taste! \m/

Allegeaon - Fragments of Form and Function probably gets my vote. Lot's of good metal last year though.

Speaking on behalf of the goth/symphonic contingent, my favorite 2010 release was Tristania's "Rubicon".

7Th Symphony by Apocalyptica.

I enjoyed this album.  Nice of them to mix in a few classical pieces to show off their skills.
