how good is shure's warranty in 2011

i bought the shure srh750dj headphones and the right ear distorts while the left does not. i know i got a dud. i have had it for 2 months. will they replace it or will they say there is nothing wrong with it. there is no physical damage just a problem with sound quality. does shure honor their warranty. since its a professional product will i get better support. also i live in canada will it be any different then the shure service in the usa. thanks. i would love to send this in and get a replacement. also how long will the process take.

Have you contacted them?  IMO, Shure's warranty service is top notch.  It's been a while since I've owned a Shure product, but I've never had problems with their warranty service.  I've only ever owned their IEM's though, which they would just replace rather than repair.  The last thing I sent in for warranty was some se530's about a year ago and I think it took around 2-3 weeks from the time I shipped to them till I got my new pair.    I'm not exactly sure what their policy is for full-size phones. Not too sure about Canada either, but I don't see why these two factors would change anything (except for possibly the turn around time).
