Swan D1080MkII 08 or Swan M200MkII??

I'm going to get one of these two desktop speakers... my question is this: Which of these two models is the 'sweet spot' in price/quality ratio for Swans active desktop speakers? (kind of like how SR-225 is the sweet spot in Grado's lineup, IMO)

 

I really don't want to spend the extra $120 on the M200MkII unless the difference is 'absolutely/undeniably worth it'

 

Has anyone heard both of these speakers? I've read some reviews, but none comparing the two.

I'd give Jon at The Audio Insider a call and ask him for an opinion. He was very honest and upfront with me about my ???'s
