Considering most custom earphones utilize the standard westone jack, I was wondering if it was possible to DIY a pair of cables for these. Commercially available aftermarket silver cables seem pretty expensive. Does anyone know where the connectors where the cables attach to the earphone sockets can be purchased (if they even can be) and what would be a suitable gauge of wire to use for such a purpose?
