Pricing on a Heed Canamp?

I was much too eager to jump into the headphone game, and bought some equipment without doing enough research. I bought some K701s, which I really like the sound and look of, but to drive them, I ended up with a FUBAR III. Now, if I had done basically ANY reading at all, I probably would have known that they don't sound so great paired up together, but I was impetuous. So now I want to upgrade to a Heed Canamp, which is one that I HAVE read sounds great with my finicky K701s. BUT, I can't find the price on one anywhere!

 

Anyone recently bought one, or know how much they're costing here in 2011?

I considered a few amps before I made my purchase for the AKG's, including the Canamp.

 

I ended getting the KICAS Caliente, just because it looks better and I think is cheaper, too.

I actually read that review after starting this thread, and I think it helped to get the canamp out of my selections. Especially for the price of it. So thanks for that.

Cool.

 

I don't have access to any of these products from others or retailers....so you just research and then try to make the best logical, and sometimes emotional, choice and hope it's what you're looking for.
