is rockbox is compatible with all the clip+ versions?

can all the versions of sansa clip plus install the software rockbox?

or just some specific versions can?

The only variations of clip+ are in capacity I believe, so all work fine with RB installed.

thanks, so there is not a clip+ v1.0 or a v2.0 (with differetnt hardware)? 

the 2GB version allow to use the external micro sd card? or only the 8gb version does?

p.s.

 

in rockbox as I see here there is a "bass" option: is this effect good as the fiio e5 bass boost or different?

 

 

would this clip+ bass option be good for taking some bass from headphones that lacks a 
bit bass like sennheiser px 200 II or it distort?

A clip+ is a clip+, all use a microSD card. The ones without the microSD card slot are the original clip. I think your confusing the 2 models. ALL clip+'s use a microSD card excellently, and all can use RB. 

 

As for RB and bass, treble, etc - it's a real setting and trumps the FiiO's in this aspect. Anyone who's used RB has pretty much 100% satisfaction.
