There was a fair bit of C4 discussion, at launch, but I've not seen any detailed impressions or reviews from anyone on the C5.

I recall being given to understand that it was tuned to be gently lifted in the bass region but otherwise relatively neutral in mids and treble, albeit slightly warm.

FWIW, as far as I know, it's all Sonion drivers, in a 1B + 2M + 2T configuration.

AFAIK I don't think any made it out into the wild.

Also, if you would suggest a ciem called "king of the dynamic driver ciems", what would it be? (hybrid designs also ok)

Nope, I have not heard it.  I am waiting for just the right moment!

King of dynamic driver CIEMs, lol.  There is no king, and see my reply to the next comment.

Not all hybrids are created equal!  The Rooth LSX5 demo I heard was the best hybrid I have heard to date.

@Mython...I thought Frogbeats had quit ciems? And also it turned out that Heir was acting as OEM for them at the time.

Yes, it seems so...

At the time I asked my question, I was unaware that they had dropped out of the market.

Looking forward to read your thoughts about 1+2 then :happy_face1:

I know there is no best ciem, but there can be the highest point in your list depending on your technical analysis. That's what I was trying to ask actually. Also I am gonna check that hybrid too, LSX5. Thank you for the reply.

You can see my overall technical performance scores here.  If I had more time, I would also allow info on specifics to be shown in a comparison format, but for now this is it!

As long as we are talking about it, he is my review wishlist:

  • Noble K10 and 5S (and 6 universal as a bonus)
  • Earsonics EM32
  • Fitear 335 and 435
  • Custom Art Harmony

Do not worry about the Roxanne, it is too late I bought it already.

Thank you for your attention.

Looks like the first item on your wishlist should actually be "Clone of average_joe"...

Actually Joe sleeps too much. 3 hours is more than enough....and he should quite his day job too. With over 20 hours of testing a day we would get somewhere pretty fast.

Yeah, the local psychiatric establishment! :p

I guess that'd work; more reviews at the expense of (a few decades of) life expectancy!
