I have seen toxic, whiplash, Tralucent and a few other. I am not talking about sound, just build. The way they sheath the cable makes them the best in that area. I think having 4 separate strands for an iem is just not ergonomic. The new Tralucent come close. That is just my opinion.

Hmm, that's something to consider. Have you ever tried double helix? Which brand, in your opinion has the best sq? Or are they all about the same level?

Dangerous subject. First of all let me say that I did not try all the cables I mention, some of them just had in hand. I can only say this: the Tralucent silver and gold with the Miracles is the only instance where I noticed improvement with a cable on an iem. The beat audio Oslo II might have improved my se5 but cannot be sure as I cannot AB...the se5 sockets are too fragile.
I am tempted but the Uber cable, the DHC Fusion and maybe some Norse Audio cables as they will soon have iem cables.

Depending on the awg and wire used, I've actually found some 4-strands to be more ergonomic than even single strand stocks. Whiplash made acheivments there with the V3 line, and Toxic took it even further. The sheathing is so incredibly thin (yet strong) even with larger / lower awgs. I find it difficult to imagine cables built better than the latest litz cables from Toxic, but am certainly open to the idea. You have piqued my interest regarding Beat Audio cables!

Interesting - I like my Beat Audio Cronus, but it's not my favorite by any stretch. I prefer the Toxic Cables, and 93East, and Effect Studio, at least in terms of build quality and ergonomics. But the Cronus is on the thicker side so maybe it's a bad example.

Then it must be a matter of taste, because the Olso II is like the Cronus, with better sockets and splitter. And I thought the Cronus had awesome build. I think separate strands are much less ergonomic.

Does anybody know whether Spiral Ear reshells its own products? I have the opportunity to buy 3-way reference and I'm wondering whether Spiral Ear will do this.

Moreover, do you think that any other company may reshell Spiral Ear IEMs, for example the Custom Art?

Spiral Ears can I think but it is quite expensive so ask them first.

They don't reply so this is way I'm asking also for other companies. Do you think any other company will do this?

Have you tried phoning them?  Mind you any company that provides an email address and then doesn't reply within a certain amount of time (at their discretion) deserves everything they get anyway!

Spiral Ear contacted me finally. They had some problems with email filters and my email landed in spamfrown.gif. So, silence on their side resulted from this.

I understand them in the following way - they don't do the reshelling; they only does this for the original buyer of thir customs.
