Indeed :(They would probably sell worldwide if you asked very nicely but i can not say for sure. I reckon that should do the trick as well!

Looks like what they say is true: BRIC are the markets of the future --- next thing we know, there'll be an Indian CIEM company, and then all the bases will be covered (I'll let Ambient and 1964 count as "Russian"... heh)

The LCM-5 is warm compare with the ER4 for example, but is the ER4 a true representation of how music is supposed to sound? Sure, it may be accurate to the instrument, at least above the bass region, but I can't recall a single live venue of any size, including all acoustic, sounding as "cold" as the ER4.
From a CIEM standpoint, only the NT-6 is colder than the LCM-5 and both the UE IERM and Alclair Reference are warmer than the LCM-5. Perspective.
That is the same as when I originally contacted them (before the XE5 was finished). Basically, they have enough business in Brazil and I don't think they want to deal with the international issues. Plus, the pricing is quite high.
Also, as I understand it, Clear Tunes has offices in South America.
The people I know in India haven't heard of any India specific custom IEM companies. UM is available there and I from what I am told, they take the majority of the business.

I tried the owner's LCM5 with added universal tips and they were really quite good. The monitor adapter really changes the sound and is quite amazing. Without the adapter the sound is very liquid and lets you focus on the music, and not the technical features. With the adapter it sounds a lot like IERM. I can't comment on anything more detailed than this since it was not made to my ears. I can imagine it to be very very good, especially for the price, if it is fit to my ears.

This sums it up nicely I think. It's just a surprisingly good result from the adapter. I figured it would basically be the same with maybe a small boost in the highs or cut in the lowest lows, but it really is a different animal all together. I'm surprised more companies aren't doing something similar as it really increases the value of the product - it's like to CIEMs in one.

Yes, that is a nice summary of the LCM-5 and if you choose to buy the adapter, it is like having 2 difference CIEMs. The LCM-5 is a great option in the $1K range for those that are looking for a reference monitor.

I don't believe I have heard of them before, thanks for sharing. The price seems reasonable and it is just a matter of hearing them to determine where they fit technically and how they sound.
Just read the LCM-5 review, nice and detailed as usual
I have to admit I am rather puzzled by this resistor adaptor thing mentioned in your review, does it work like the p to s cable of the er4?
Also, have you considered adding the adaptor to other ciems? Basing on the adaptor's ability of pulling out treble, it might match nicely with em3pro or 8.A.

You can say the adapter is similar to the p to s cable of the ER4, although I think the changes may be larger with the LCM-5. I think I tried the adapter with another CIEM but it didn't change the sound in a desirable way, possibly because the adapter is tuned specifically for the LCM-5 crossover network, but I will try it with some other CIEMs in the near future.

I asked Tatco at Lear his thought about the adapter with other IEMs. he said it is possible and that there is nor harm trying but the components in the adapter are made with only the LCM-5 in mind. I tried a few IEMs and none sounded as good with the adapter. However you never know, i may strike lucky and find something that works well with it! Currently listening to my LCM-5 with a BTL balanced amp and it sounds soooo awesome!
