This is kind of crazy.Video playback is very important to audio quality and playback *sarkasm*.

Really don't think they are 60X competitors... not in the same segment IMHO. Should be a good enemy for iPod.

Maybe you already tried booth, before put this comment here...:)

I think If the problem solved with the HD files the sound quality can be really comparable (to HM-601).

And based on specifications this unit is better.

But it is really good, that more and more units come for the audiophiles (where the sound matters):

Already here: (Sandisk clip+) Teclast T51 / S:flo2, HM-801, HM-601, HM-602, C4, CK4...

Coming: T59, FiiO X3

And there are some iPod USB DAC too

(beside the Wadia and Onkyo dock there are portable: Cypher Labs Algorhythm Solo, Fostex HP-P1, but very-very expensive, maybe the coming Nuforce iDUH (?) cheaper...)

@ Volfman : Have you tried to take contact with Colorfly for instructions ? Also don't feel offended but have you tried the reset switch ?

@ All : Thanks for keeping the thread alive, I've been quite busy lately. Plus there's no real new info from Colorfly at this point. However I think I should point out that Fujiya, a good audio shop in Tokyo and the sponsor of the Headphone Festival last month, is now distributing the C4 and CK4. Prices are higher than China obviously, but if they feel the player good enough to distribute it, it's a good sign (they have never distributed the T51/SFlo2 for example, even if it's quite popular here).

I've been reviewing the pictures but I can't see any internal reset switch, and the battery is soldered so you can't take it out for a reset.

Did you try to connect it to your computer through USB ? Any reaction ?

Sorry to hear that, unfortunately we don't have many users yet and no tool available whatsoever.

Did you try to have your computer detecting the player with the update software ? Maybe you can find a way to reboot the player like that.

Sorry I didn't notice the CK4 had an update module integrated in the firmware. Well then I'm out of idea, you'll have to contact Colorfly or wait for someone to help you if that's possible.

Good luck
