movies on samsung r1

hello can anyone out there please tell me how to put movies on an r1,and what program/player to use? all info gratefully accepted

First you could use super converter to do the job. Its a freeware program.

 

Then you should consider your player's screen resolution which is 400x240. Try make your videos around that resolution but from a quick search i did, i saw that it can play  DivX, XivD, MPEG4, WMV, H.264, ASF and RMVB videos - as long as the resolution is kept to 720 x 480 pixels or below.

Try the program i told you and find for your self the best codec and resolution. Keep in mind that H.264 is considered one of the best codec to convert your files because you can put more quality in smaller file size.

 

This info are usefull if you already have the films in a higher quality video. So tell us more so we help you more.

I totally agree with you Angelo.  It's the new Head-fi.  They have a few minutes to start a thread but do not have 3 seconds to say thanks.  I'm not saying this is the case with the OP but in general that is the consensus around these parts as of the last year or so.
