I'm selling a Millet Hybrid MiniMAX that I built. Now, it's the first amp that I had ever built, so I'm going to sell it for just a bit above parts cost since it's my first build. Everything works fine and I've tested it and biased it and all the levels are perfect. I wouldn't consider it to be a "professional", whatever that means, but it looks and sounds great. There are boutique parts as follows:
- Nichicon muse at CA2 and CA7
- VitaminQ caps at CA8
- 10 ohm KOA resistor at R1
- 10 ohm KOA at RB14
- 2SC3422/2S1359 at Q8/Q9
there's 1 blue LED at RA5C (no tube LEDs) and it's built in the Beezar black case.
comes with a Triad walwart and a pair of 12FK6 tubes (low gain since i mostly listen to grados).
it sounds great, looks pretty good, and i'm quite pleased with my first build. my second build, a millet maxed in a custom case, is more to my liking (nondescript and sounds a tad bit punchier) so that is why i'm selling his mini. hope it goes to a good home.
