Low frequency distortion on ipad

Have you experienced low frequency distortion on music, even in losseles or 320k files with your iPad? It's pretty noticeable with apple in ear or m50 headphones for me.

Sounds like you're pushing your iPad into clipping. That's not a defect - your headphones are demanding more power than the iPad can deliver. Clipping usually shows up in the low end because bass demands more power than the mids or highs. You're actually causing physical movement with drivers and bass requires the largest movements. When you run out of power - clipping - it always shows up in low end first.

You can run an amplifier if you want to give yourself more power. But it's not a flaw in the iPad, you're just asking for more than it can give.

You are also most probably breaking your ears, or using OS 3.2 and the 'EQ'.

Unfortunately, its in normal volume. I've tried the same song with the same m50, on my pc iTunes AND iPod touch 4g, and only happens to my iPad...
