Driver flex on the M6?

Got my M6s yesterday to replace my E2Cs and liking them a lot. However, I have one concern. The right earpiece always crackles whilst I'm adjusting them, it's kind of annoying and the left one doesn't do it, is this normal? It's loud and I can hear it crinkle when changing the tips, it doesn't even have to be in my ear for me to hear it, makes them seem very cheap.

Out of curiosity, what color do you have? I have a clear M6 and have had two pairs of black M6P. The clear pair has no driver flex, but both black pairs have it on one side--I forget which side.

Then I guess it nothing to with the color then.

Comply tips help ALOT. Just make sure your compressing them first. Dont just wedge them in your ear fully expanded.

I disagree with this...

I never roll mine (wears them out more quickly).

Your mileage may vary, Jim

driver flex when out of ear canal? ****, that must be some serious case of driver flex lol :D I guess it has more to do with build quality than with the driver flex that we commonly know. maybe the driver is not glued right to the shell and different kinds of pressure on the shell causes that effect? I'd suggest opening up them and gluing them back together, if you are brave enough that is :D
