I had the same dilema just 2 days ago when I ask ClieOS about the ba200 and gr07. I bought the ba200 yesterday to try it out for myself and I have to say I'm impressed. Although both have similar sound signature the presentation is very different. The ba200 feels slightly more intimate with vocals and I can hear a tad more detail and shimmer in the treble. Treble is also noticeably smoother on the ba200. The ba200 sounds slightly thicker and fuller on ba200 than on the gr07. The vocals are definitely more forward than the gr07. The gr07 has an airier presentation and everything just sound noticeably more open though I'm not suggesting the ba200 sounded congested. I'm not sure how to describe the bass but I do prefer the gr07 slightly as it seems more palpable? The gr07 also has better texture and the layering is still unmatched by everything I've heard. I do not have a conclusion at this stage as I need more time to evaluate both iem but I will say the ba200 are definitely worth buying as they offer a very different flavor from gr07.

I have the BA200 (for an imba price too!), was just considering adding the GR07 to my stable as well, and as such was thinking how these compliment the BA200 and if I can justify having both.. Guess I'll have to listen to them a bit more to decide..

Thanks for the comparisons though!

To ClieOS or anyone else who cares to give their opinion,

Which of these would you give the best value?

-Etymotic Research HF5 $131

-Vsonic GR07                 $162

-Brainwavz B2                $169

-Vsonic GR01                $180

Converted to USD so it's easier for you guys :p

Might be worth mentioning that it'll be complimenting my BA200s!

You can get B2 for $110 if you can wait until the end of this month (you also get free Fedex shipping).

the safest first thing to do is open a Paypal account, so you're covered. then should buy from well rated sellers.

mp4nation has a good rating , though, i've heard of some cases. i ordered last year the B2 from them, and no problem. usually they reply my msgs within a day.

if you want the Vsonic , lendmeurears is a good option.

Frogbeats too (as soon as they get the Vsonic stock...)

but if you can get them at a local store , it may be a better option, even if it's more expensive

Lendmeurears is based in my country, they do COD here so that's really lucky for me I guess..

Thanks for the info!

so Clieos, have you tried the new DBA02 Mk2 ? would like to know your opinion

Yes, I've tried DBA-02 MK2. The treble is tamed down a little bit but still has plenty of detail. The bass is punchier with better body and texture. Overall a small but fairly noticeable improvement over the original DBA-02.

Oh, and my hunt for the Yamaha EPH-100 in Singapore has so far been unsuccessful. They are out-of-stock everywhere - don't say I have tried hard enough as I have visited over 8 different stores in just 2 days. Have to wait till end of July before I'll do it all over again.
