Hey, I'm in need of a good DAC to go from my PC to amp and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried removing the DAC from a PS1 model scph-1001. The unit had received a bit of attention a while back as a great CD player because of its DAC and I was wondering if anyone has tried using the DAC on it's own.
