You can find the E9 at Micca Store here or at Amazon here.

Hello again to all of you. I feel I had to update this thread so here it is what I finally decided. After reading your comments, other threads and valuable info in this site I went for the Burson Audio HD160. I did this because I had (have) the possibility to return it and get the FiiO E9 that some of the nice people who attended my doubt recommended me if it wasn't up to my expectations.

I couldn't be happier. I love this amp. At the beginning doesn't impress you at all but after watching videos and reading material concerning to this device which strongly (even the user's manual) recommend to burn it in for a period of time this baby has turned into a totally different animal (in the good sense of course). My AKG's 701 and Sehnheiser's HD 650 never sounded better, kind of "rediscovering music" if you like. The thing I like the most is its neutrality, no coloration or very very little if you want, I hear music as it was recorded, what I wanted from the beginning. Sober design, looks great anywhere you want to put it. The volume knob (stepped attenuator) is not my kind of tea but it not a big deal, in fact the more I use it the more I'm getting used to its "feeling". This is a powerful amp, if you are one of those who are sick because can't get the juice out your 701's, with the HD160 you'll be able to squeeze it all. The good thing is that the amp is still "flourishing", it's still in the period of time and use to keep evolving, and if it keeps evolving like this this could be one of the best investments I've made.

Just wanted to share it with all of you since you all have been very kind trying to help me out. Best regards!

That sounds great, I have been considering this amp myself, I am now leaning even more towards it. k701smile.gif

HA-160+ AKG/Sennh's = a match made on heaven, good choice.

If you use those headphones, IMHO, you won't be dissapointed, but again, that's just my opinion. All I can say is that my search is over (maybe the 160D in the future), and after 1 previous head amp (Project Box SE II) I couldn't be happier. Good luck with the one you choose!
