[ Cross-posting from the Members' Lounge, since I spend all my time here in DIY anyway. Mods, let me know if this is not OK ]

My sister and I are raising money for the Leukemia Foundation (an Australian organisation) by taking part in the World's Greatest Shave. The Leukemia Foundation helps fund research into treatments and cures for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related blood disorders, they also provide support and services to Australian cancer patients and their families during diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.

On Marth 12 we will be shaving off all the hair on our heads, my beard included, and I'd like to ask members of the Head-Fi community to sponsor us or donate some money to a good cause.
You can sponsor us online by going to our team page at http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/teambaldeagles. If you'd like to make a donation but don't have a CC for that site, shoot me a PM and I can give you my PayPal details.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully you're all feeling a little generous smily_headphones1.gif

Here's a picture of what we currently look like (I don't normally look quite that crazy...):

That’s really quite a disturbing image...

Yep, may as well go the whole way.

EDIT: Oh, actually I just re-read that and saw what you were talking about. That stuff looks a bit weird, but I'll definitely be doing a number 0 cut and I'll see how I feel about taking a razor to my head once I see what it's like under all this hair smily_headphones1.gif

Maybe if someone donates enough I might consider it wink.gif But I think I'll look weird enough as it is.

Is he gonna do the armpits?

Will they have a hazmat station set up just in case?

Remember..!!!     Hair today - gone tomorrow..

Kojack's favourite line which he never spoke.

You better be shaving the hair off yourselves.

Bumpity, bump.

Even a small donation is worth it just to see pics of me with no hair, right?
We've raised a bit so far but we can do better!

Just six more days before Owen goes into The twilight zone and starts scaring the local kiddies and pets.

We need to get an action group to get in touch with the RSPCA and other animal welfare groups as well as posting billboards on telegraph poles in the local vicinity, shopping centres, ads in local papers etc, before the impending act is actioned.

Being forewarned is being forearmed.

It's a good thing we have a strict gun control ethic in our great land..... or else it's Owen in gunpowder heaven.....
