Pico DAC only vs. balanced iBasso

should I get pico DAC or the balanced iBasso? I have both balanced and unbalanced amp that i will feed them into. what sounds the BEST?

Love my pico dac and use it often, never heard the iBasso.  If i had to do it again though, i would save for the HM801 and maybe the Game amp.  Then you have a player that does 24 bit with high end dac chip that you can use out of your computer or as a stand alone and you don't really even need an amp.  I have been thinking of even selling my Pico, even though i am happy with it because i could theoretically just use the 801.  The only advantage to the pico is it is usb powered and the 801 uses a rechargeable batt pack.

 

Edit-what sounds the best, the 801 rivals my $2400 home dac, so there you go.

Yeah, I have the Digital Link and it has almost $1700. in upgrades.  Not saying the 801 tops it but i am surprised how close it actually comes, and it's a portable!
