LEGEND  ^

Thanks very much mate works like a charm :)      :

Had no idea it'll be so easy but if you don't know you don't know I suppose lol.

To be very honest it actually sounds much better with these settings than before (preampwink.gif), very pleased now :)

Thanks again for persisting with this little problem everyone, especially Vitor with the winning formula lol, much appreciated guys!

Hi there,

I’ve another little problem using Foobar with this particular radio station I listen to. Before my last re-installation of the program it worked fine. Now it doesn’t give me the options between Foobar2K/Windows Media Player/ Classic player – just strait into Windows Media Player without giving me the option? Maybe it’s a case of me pressing the wrong button, I don’t recall doing this however? Any ideas how to correct this ‘coz I’ve tried all I can do from the options in Foobar to a pretty long Google search - yet no joy.

Many thanks :)

You mean your files open in windows media player by default rather than foobar which you want them to?

If that's the case, you file associations haven't updated, browse to a typical file in windows explorer, right click > open with > Choose default program > if foobar's there, highlight it, if not hit browse and find it > select "always open in this program" (or something similar) and click ok. Foobar will then become the default player for that file type.

If that doesn't work i'm going to guess you installed a portable version of foobar and that doesn't support file associations.

Sorry for the delay Marcus,

No, this solution only works for my music files, not for internet radio. I'm 95% sure it's actually the full foobar version, but there's always that element of doubt. However I'm very sure it's the pop-up options where I've fluffed up on? Just can't figure out which ones?

Have a good weekend mate :)
