You can also try to reinstall foobar and or using the latest beta version.
Concerninng the DSP's I cannot help because I avoid all this stuff :))

No SSS plug-ins yet mate, which would you recommend?
Yeah ever since I DL'd it around 3 week ago really, plus the other 2 installations on top. Just seems to be much more noticeable latly for some reason. No relevent changes. I even picked one of my friends brains who works as a sound engineer about it - and he doesn't know either (was over the phone though). The only other thing I can pin-point it on is the CD player? 5 year old now so it could be this? From a Super Speed Master to a Super Slouch Master maybe??? Can't see it being any other components either really. Wi-fi? Wireless Keyboard and Mouse?????
Cheers :)

And try disabling every DSP you might be using.
Good idea but the spectrogram doesn't go blank just stuttering in tamdem with the mute - no signs of muting with a clear section on the spectrogram if that makes sense?
Already done this with the DSP mate - no joy though.
Since doing the post it's actually muted 5 times now :(
Graças :)
Thanks very much for all your help anyway guys :)
Anymore help will be more than welcome ;)
