Sensaphonics Custom Sleeves For Shure

Thread Starter

Hi,

I have the SE425 and like their sound quite a bit, but am thinking about getting impressions done for the sensaphonics custom sleeves. I'm curious if anyone has done this and has any opinions of them, particularly about how it might change their sound for the better or worse as I've read a few good and bad things about the process...

1. better fit

2. increased isolation

3. better seal

4. more comfortable

5. compatible with SE535 for possible future upgrade

What's not to like?

Whilst not strictly related I've thought many times about getting custom tips for the iems that I have.  In the end I always conclude that I'd just rather get a set of "proper" customs, especially now the prices are coming down.

I I just received my pair of custom Sensaphonics two days ago and **wow** what a difference they make with my SE535s.  I have to admit, I have to stop now- now that I have the Sensaphonics together with the RSA Shadow.  What a difference the pair make.  Also, the custom tips make the SE535s comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.  Go for it!
