Fiio L1 and L3?

Hi everyone, Im interested in purchasing a iPhone 3gs dock to line out. Does anyone own a Fiio L1 or L3? What is the difference?

Take it with a grain of salt - I haven't heard either  - so can't make a comparison.  But I used this link when I made my choice (mine is on the way from HK now).  I chose the L3 - matching it with an E7 as an entry point amp/dac.

 

Hopefully someone else who has experienced both can give you an actual.

My first LOD was the budget L1, and it was fine, but did not last.  After only a few months one of the connections went flaky.  I've had the L3 for over a year now with no problems.  I'd spend the extra money for the better build quality.
