help, v-dac noise

Hi all,

I recently bought an MF v-dac, connecting to my headphone directly via a RCA to 3.5mm headphone jack lead.

For every 30 mins or so, I hear a small noise lasting several seconds.

It is like you put your phone near the speaker, and you hear a 'di-la-di-la' voice when there is a gsm message coming.

Is it something wrong with the dac ?

cheers

Do you have a cell phone placed near the DAC? It's not unusual for electromagnetic interference from the phone to be picked up by audio equipment. It is more noticeable with sensitive low impedance headphones.

Thanks, yeah I got my phone not far from both headphone and dac. That might be the reason.
