Please help me solder this.

Hi!

I wanted to solder 4 wires to a board, so I could terminate it in a 2.5 mm or 3.5mm jack, but the points in the pcb are just two small for my iron and my skills with the iron. I am not experienced with soldering. I only soldered on two 3.5mm plug that I reterminated.

So I 'd like to ask someone, preferably in Europe, but anywhere can do, To solder 4 points on the pcb to a cable which I will send you, or if you have a better one, you can use yours.

Here is the picture of the board

headsetboard.jpg

This is the xbox 360 wireless headset. I want to connect it to a cable which I will reterminate in 3.5 mm jack so I can use my own headset or connet it to a mixamp.

The mixamp is an accessory that lets you use your own headphones and mic (or headset) with the xbox 360, but you will need to run a cable from xbox 360 controller to the mixamp. With this I want to connect the wireless headset to the mixamp, because I hate the cable from the controller to the mixamp

Please help, If you can do this for free it would be great, but if you want me to pay I can pay something, but not much!

Hi,

Just take your time and be careful. Use a very small soldering tip on a small circuit board iron. Also use very thin rosin core solder and do not allow the solder to "puddle up". If you have soldered 3.5mm plugs before you should be ok. If you go out and get the proper tools you will always be ready to approach this kind of re-do in the future and have fun doing it !! Good Luck!

You can file down the tip on your soldering iron. I wouldn't worry too much about damaging a $5 iron, and as long as you tin the tip, it should work fine.

my fear is with the board not the tip, lol!

My problem is that I may damage the pcb. as you can see in the picture the 4 points I need to solder are very new each other so I am afraid I may solder them to one..

If you don't want to solder it, how about using conductive glue instead? Quick google search: http://www.instructables.com/id/Make-Conductive-Glue-and-Glue-a-Circuit/

the problem is that it require someone with skill/experience to do it, as the the points needing to soldered are too close to each other for me.

They're not as close together as you think.  Just tin the tip of your iron and poke it onto where the wires are going in to desolder it, straight down...you can do it!
