Hi all,

I'm just wondering which connector, in your experience/opinion would provide less wear on a cable?

As I'll be using the cable with my TF10Pro's, and it'll be connected to my iPod in my pocket, I figure a straight connector is better since it can just shoot up right out of my pocket. But in most "standard" headphones, I'm more used to seeing right-angle connectors, which seems less convenient for pocket use.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I only find right angle as useful for stuff where the port is growing out of the side, not the top (like my Macbook).  For an iPod in your pocket, straight is what to go with.

If there was a tug on the cable, wouldn't a right angled plug in this case provide less direct strain on the cable, placing more of that strain on the strain relief?

Just thinking that if the wire is tugged in a straight connection system that most of the strain is taken by the connector, connection port and the wiring than a right angled plug.
