ATH-EM700 Recabling?

Is there anyone here who are experienced in recabling the ATH-EM700 or the clip in audio technica's?

My jack got busted and i'm somehow managed to fix the jack by cutting it and replace it with some other jack (and gluing it with silicon)

problem is, its getting too short and I'm looking to change the cable wholesomely.

Can someone provide or link me the step by step guide on recabling the thing cos im extremely new on this recabling stuff

and what kind of cable would be fit to replace the cable used by the ATH-EM700?

Any help would be appreciated

I just got the ATH-EW9s I'm thinking of recabling them, I don't like the stock cable. I will be attempting it soon but recabling is pretty straight-forward.

I will be using these pictures as my references. I have a bit of re-cabling experience but never really had any hard projects before. Even though it's common sense, just really be careful and think before you do it. If I get my project materials soon and have some time, I'll see if I can do a step-by-step but don't count on it =_=; .. It's just something I will do for sure but nothing of urgency. Best of luck to you though. beerchug.gif
