For Sale:
SOLD: Grado RS1 (Classic) w/Box, 1/8 adapter, Bowl pads & TTVJ Flat pads.
Will Ship To: CONUS
I'm considering selling my Semi-Vintage Grado RS1's. I hate to think about parting with these, but I've got a couple opportunities to upgrade my DAC, and because I'm recently without a job, I can't really afford to spend out of pocket, so selling these is the more responsible (and bummer) thing for me to do.
I'm not going to lie to you guys, I got these RS1's for a un-real steal, $150 from a local craigslist ad which was a once in a lifetime type situation from someone who had no idea what a jewel he owned.
So I have to take this opportunity to make more than what I bought them for, because that's what's going to pay for my DAC upgrade. But I'm also not trying to rip anyone off, so I am selling them for what I think is a more-than-fair price for the buyer also, especially considering that these are the, arguably, more sought out for, "Classic" model.
Price is $400+ shipping. I've seen this exact pair (Classics) going for upwards of $450 and up through $550, so I believe my price is a good deal. Some not even including the box.
I'm including the box, 1/4 to 1/8 adapter that came with these RS1's, and a bonus, TTVJ Flat pads! I don't have the original manuals, because they weren't available when I bought them from the original owner. They are also in great condition, no blemishes to the wood cups. The only slight blemish would be the slight tangling of the cable, but that happens to nearly every Grado I've seen.
The picture I'm posting shows a little bit of dust underneath the cup holder, which I have already wiped off. (I took those pictures the second I got home from buying them because I was so excited, even without wiping them off a bit first.
EDIT: According to this thread, they're the "Classics". I originally called them the "Semi-Vintages"
