God help us if this isn't a joke. Stupidity really knows no bounds if this is the case.

 

Something tells me if the seller used the term "new old stock" he would know too much about tubes for this to be real. He also mentioned a Scott amp (not "something called an H.H. Scott that came from my Dad I don't know much about it"), so you'd think, again, he would understand a little bit about tubes.

 

If it is a joke, it's likely he's just selling the guts from some broken tubes he had laying around.
