While the title of my thread may be a little bit misleading, I am wanting to find an alternative headband to what is typically provided with the shure headphones. I really dislike it, and it's more or less just falling apart. It never was comfortable. I ended up tearing it down to try and clean it up a bit but it's just a really poorly constructed headband. Are there any headbands one could purchase, assuming it was recabled to dual entry, that the yokes would fit onto the SRH840 rather easily or at least without any sort of fabrication?

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

Just wanted to bump this to see if anybody knows of a headband that can just clip right onto the shure's that isn't a shure headband. :D
Actually, tonite I'm going to measure the dimensions the headband has to match that way we can find a list of suitable replacement headbands, preferably on cheaper headphones (70$ or less) so I can pick one, buy it, and scrap the headphone for the headband.
Right now I'm curious about the MDR-V600.
