muddy waters -folk singer

I am on the fence with blues music, but this stripped down album freaks me out.  When listening to this (lossless mfsl) I feel Muddy is speaking to me personally.  At times the vocals are so powerful that my head is gonna drop off.

I am not sure if this would be classifed as well mastered but it certainly has a well defined sounstage.

Anyone else get a kick out of this album?  I would highly recommend a listening session with this recording.

Coincidently I came across this album not long before your post and I am blown away by it. I thought Muddy Waters was cool but this is something else. Pure beauty! I wonder what it would sound like on a proper setup.

I have the MFSL version and it sounds absolutely amazing on my home setup, although it also sounds great with my dap and CK10's. The vocals pop right out so it's like he's actually in the room with you, and the sound quality is outstanding. Not much of a Blues lover myself, but I really love this album.
