I understand there are functional differences between these two models - one has two channel output for speakers and the other can be used as a pre-amp. Any differences in the quality of the DACs between the two units? How about as headphone amps? It seems on the surface that the HDP is a Icon 2 that just trades the 2-channel output for a little more flexibity through the ability to be used as a pre-amp. Please elaborate. Thanks.
