Need a new DAC soon to go along with my Lehmann Black Cube and came across the moon 100D. Does anyone already own it and can share some experiences ?

Looks like Moon;s budget DAC sank without trace - TAS did review it however:
http://www.avguide.com/review/simaudio-moon-100d-usb-dac-tas-215
Having grown accustomed to their CDPs costing well over 10K, the asking price came as a huge shock. Perhaps it was just a toe in the water - TAS predictably felt the need to tell us that a good CDP remains a better option. Who cares that the CDP in question cost 10 times the purchase price of the 100D ?
Beam me up.
The 100D is a fantastic DAC for 650. It's simple and sounds great. Everything Simaudio touches sounds good, but the 100D is definitely a black sheep at that price point.
One thing I will warn you about though and that is that the USB input is a throw away on this DAC. They say so on their site, and it's true. No High Res support and just not well implemented. You'll want a USB to Coax converter to get the most out of the 100D.
It's great DAC if you want to spin CDs from a transport, but a little questionable if you want to use it mainly as a PC DAC. It sounds great, but the converter is an extra cost to consider. You can get better USB implementation somewhere else.
EDIT: Don't get me wrong, the USB will still sound better than something like Optical out from a Macbook and blow away no DAC at all, but the preference would be Coax.
