Other Ear pads that will fit the K271 MKII?

I like the headphones but I want a thicker ear pads for it. Perhaps something like the k702? Are there others that will fit?

The K701/701 pads do not fit. The Beyerdynamic DT770 pads do fir the AKG K271. They are thicker and AFAIK also benefit the sound.

You can also try the JMoney Beyer pads.

Is it noticeably thicker? I hate that the drivers touch my ears on the stock pads.

I was going to start a new thread but since this is pretty much my same question I'm going to sprinkle some magic dust on it and revive it to see if I can get an answer from you guys...

 

Recently got a set of k271 mk2's and like the OP my ears touch the grill inside the cup making it uncomfortable after a while...are the dt 770 pads thicker than the stock pads on the k271's?

 

I found a lot of different ones on B&H have no idea which ones to get
