Dream Setup Help

So i finally have my dream setup (for my budget) and was wondering how i should place my speakers on my desk. i have audioengine a5's and nuforce u-dac 2. like should i put my speakers on a stand and how far should they be from the wall. currently i have them on my desk: about 2.5 feet apart, about 3 inches from the wall, no stands, and about 1.5 feet away from me.

Google could have answered this one pretty easily. You want the tweeter in the speaker to be pointing directly at your ear. You also want both speakers and your head to form somewhat of an equilateral triangle. As far as distance from the wall the speakers should be at least a foot off the wall. Fudge around with yours until they sound the best. Every room and situation is different.
