Quote:So what do you think of the K3003? Is it superior to your Custom? Would be funny if a Universal outclassed all customs lol

As far as I know only Averagejoe would be remotely qualified w/ his plethora of customs experience. Making universal statements like that is inherently fallacious regardless. The FAD SS with one armature best many customs, many customs best a ton of universals. So what. I do believe the AKG costs 50% more than my ES5 and 3x's more than what I paid for my UERM.post #2480 of 29481/6/12 at 4:34am- lee730

Not sure why you are taking such offense to this comment. Its like you feel threatened by it. Not a big deal at all. But I would like to know if this IEM is truly worth its price tag and if it does best many if at all "any" expensive Custom flagships out there. Then again how much would it best them by?

I only take offense to wild logically flawed statements that lead to OT trolling. I also know where that discussion leads to, many now locked threads. I also don't see the relevance as even if the 3003 did sound better than ALL customs (which is completely unverifiable even if anyone actually did hear them ALL) they cost 30-40% more than what most ToTL customs do so I don't think customs have anything to worry about.I'm tired of people trying to force apples and oranges comparisons as I see it. One is designed to custom fit your ear canal, the other isn't. It's like someone saying a Ford Raptor SVT truck is faster than most sports cars so buying a Ferrari is stupid and they will lose business. What??

At the end they both produce music, and I am curious to see the sound compared to custom IEMs (especially at such a high price tag). I know they are completely different segments of IEMs but the are still IEMs regardless. I would sure hope they could at least compare in sound being as expensive as they are.Quote:Originally Posted by Anaxilus
