Perceived difference between early and late HE90?

Would anyone have more information on the perceived differences between the early and late edition HE90. Is this difference confirmed in actual part differences or is it the opinion based on listening?

Thanks,

Dave

I've done some research and found that something about the design of the stators changed in the later production.  Anyone know more about this?
