Just looking for some input on several bassy headphones under or around the $200 mark. The biggest priority is bass quantity, without sacrificing too much clarity or loss in the other frequencies (I am no audiophile though, so I may not even be able to pick out quality loss as good as some of you others can). Preferably easily driven without an amp due to portability. Hopefully I can get some people that have heard 2 or more of these so I can get some good comparisons. I have no way of testing any of these out where I am and I have heard a lot of mixed opinions about the most bass around this price point.

-Phiaton MS400

-Denon AH-D1100

-Ulrasone HFI-580

-V-Moda Crossfade LP

-Sony XB500 (Don't really like the look, but in the list nevertheless)

Let me know if I missed any others...

Denon DN-HP700, they retail for about 100 USD and have similar amounts of bass as the D1100 but without the boominess and cavern type of sound plus they have way better mids and crystal clear yet non-sibilant treble. If you can trial a pair they are worth it. Personally I like them better than the D1100/A100 and also prefer them over the ATH-M50.

Those look pretty sweet too, I'll have to look more into them. They look less plasticky and cheap than the D1100's.
