IEM with tight snappey bass for electric Jazz?

Hello all,

I have Monster Turbines which like generally. But, the bass sounds bloated and undefined to my ears. What would be the next step up that would have tighter, snappier bass for electric Jazz music?

What is your experience?

Thanks.

You want a real mind blowing bass, listen Radius DDM (HP-TWF11R)

JVC HA-FX700 also is amazing for music for bass driven music

Thanks for the tip. What I really want is a very tight high definition bass in order to hear that bass string snap. I'm not into heavy thumping club music. Do your recommendations still stand?

I wanted to resurrect this thread because I'm back in the market again. This time with up to 150 bones to spend. The Monster Turbines are OK but the bass is bloated, and without definition.

Any more suggestions?

Here I am again five years later...

Looking for a smooth IEM with some IEM with tight snappey bass! Not Boomers. Thanks!

Dunu 2000 and Dunu 2000j -
I would first suggest the J version because of its high quality textured bass, and it boasts a good tactile and agile (mid bass). The overall ss leans towards the upper register though the bass never felt lacking at all.

I own the original dn2000 which provides a satisfying sub bass extension and good quantity of it. I love how upright basses just sounded full and resonant in the body. Good weight on the notes.

Owned the turbines twice,as well the md trumpets 4x (my original end game).

I can swear of the tightness of the Dunu hybrids. Sounds kinky right?

I wish to read more reviews of the Eva in particular...

What the heck, send me a review model and I'll do it!
