I have my WA6SE arriving next week. I've read a little about upgrading the stock tubes and I'm looking for advice from fellow WA6SE owners on which to go for. Im a newbie with tube amps so any advice would be very welcome!

I currently have the EML 5U4G and the Sophia Princess. They are considered two of the best in production. They have a huge soundstage, but I'm having trouble matching them with my rather bright sounding W11R headphones. However, I'm stilling burning in the EML 5U4G. It's only been about 8 hours. Some of my friends really love the combo of the Princess or EML with my headphones. I guess I'm becoming more and more treble sensitive.
I have the Brimar and the Tung Sol 5U4G being shipped.

Thanks for the links! I'm going to give the EML 5U4G a go (my poor wallet). Just waiting for Jack to get some in stock.
OOOO i hope they pair well! Jack told me a few days ago that he's receiving them. He told me to preorder. They should be in by now I think.

Review the various Woo Audio threads (search is your friend) - you'll find more than you want to know on the best tubes in these amps. Most of the discussions are in 2008 and 2009. No point in rehashing the whole topic.
