For Sale:
FS: Audio-gd Reference 7 DAC with upgraded wire (OCC copper and silver) and DSP-1 v5 module
Will Ship To: Anywhere
Hello! PJ here with another great sale!
This time it's my beloved Audio-gd Reference 7 DAC. (I am selling it because I will be upgrading to the much more expensive HE version which is $1000 more).
It has upgraded wire throughout -- DHC Nucleotide OCC Copper for all digital and analog connections, except for: AES/EBU input has Cryo-parts SCSCag OCC Silver wire, BNC input has Illuminati Ohm-Aha! true 75 ohm coaxial hook-up wire.
The Reference 7 has 4 inputs -- AES/EBU, RCA Coaxial, BNC/RCA combo input (but I have the RCA input on this combo input disconnected as to prevent any noise from contaminating the BNC signal), and a TOSlink optical input.
My unit is in perfect, like-new condition and has approximately 300 hours on it so it's barely burned-in. I have upgraded the DSP-1 module to v5 which is the newest, and cost $180. The DAC new cost $1,750 + $180 shipping, but won't even be sold anymore because it was updated to the Reference 7.1 which costs $1900. The only difference between the two are that the 7.1 has a slight +1dB greater SNR. The various upgraded wire in the unit cost me about $70 (plus the shipping to get it to me and then to China).
Will sell for $1,550 + shipping, but won't be ready to part with it for 6-8 weeks. So if you are interested and would like me to hold it for you for a small $100 deposit, please send me a PM and we can work out the details.
I have excellent feedback, which you can find by clicking on the link in my signature. I have not sold anything since the new Head-Fi format went into effect so I do not have any "trader" feedback yet.
Thanks!
