Yes, it's a pair of computer active monitor M-40 from M-audio that's I have been enjoying several days listening to my cans from the M 40 headphone output.

 

Clean, clear and punchy. The Pandora One via my Sony laptop sounds even better than the headphone jack from the Pio a35 integrated.

 

I know audiophile guys may laugh at me but hell as long as I am happy , who cares!  I have enough share of Hi-end gear from Krell to Bryston, BAT to Audio Research within the last 30 years but I never been happy and always look for upgrading. Now just me , a pair of budget M-40 and a Laptop with a bunch of headphones but I cannot be happier.

 

I never thought abt the headphone jack of the M -40 as a HP amp and now I am glad I did.

I got some nice set up too but I miss the beautiful presentation of a floor standing speaker setup. I have BX8A with me to listen to when I want to get something other than my headphones. They are not perfect but they still make me realize why I miss my tower speaker setup from years ago.

I know the feeling but at my old age, I want to simplifying my audio hobby and compromising is hard  to deal with at first but just like everything else, I find way to work around it and accept the things that I cannot change.

 

My most regret is the Martin Logan Ls3 and the Aerius I......well, life goes on and my journey gets shorter so I did what I have to do.
