For Sale: FS: Alessandro MS1 CANADA *Price Drop*

I believe I am the second owner of these, purchased them from a fellow head-fier last October I think. They are in the exact same shape I received them in. I've put maybe 10 hours on them, I just wanted to try out the "grado sound" and they weren't for me. No cosmetic or sound flaws, but the original owner did modify them slightly. Here's excerpt from the original post;  

Overall, the headphones are in excellent condition and come with the pizza box. The flat pads are barely used because I preferred 414 pads and all lettering is intact. They were bought 2 years ago but they have never been my main headphone.

The MS-1 have been made more stealthy and portable through the following cosmetic changes:

1) The cable has been shortened to 1m (3') by reterminating the cable with a standard, gold-plated 3.5 mm plug.

2) The metal bars (aka antennas) have been shortened to ~4 cm (1.5"). I always use the smallest setting and found the antennas to look silly like that. Because they are smaller these headphones will not work for someone who requires the full length of the bars, but I have found that most people can still use these with the shortened bars.

3) The metal backing on the drivers was coloured black with a sharpie. This is purely cosmetic and just reduces the glare coming from within the headphones.

Apologize in advance for my crummy photography skills, even with a D90. I've caught the DIY bug so I'm looking to fund a bottlehead crack, I can't justify keeping all these headphones lol. Also on that note I would be willing to re-cabling either for the cost of materials if anyone's interested.
