Might just be some strage local grounding prob, or AC power grounding due to PSU, or the FAn's power.  etc.... Hey if it is not there anymore, dont mess with it.

Yeah, I'll just wait, I guess...

I'll probably get the Xonar DX though, to make sure. tongue.gif (plus it should improve sound a bit)

I just hope the rest of the components are fine, really can't afford lots of things breaking down at once. biggrin.gif

A grounding issue would introduce a hum or buzz, not pitch change or the other symptoms Vitor Machado described.

Guys, get ready for some serious lolz. biggrin.gif

I've been swimming these days, and I just realized the problem is not my computer, it's my ears.

Water is getting inside my ears, and then for the next hour after I stop swimming, physics does it's thing and distorts the sound.

It's hard to notice on voices, but when music plays it's obvious.

Maybe I should use ear plugs. tongue.gif

Though the crackling noise was indeed caused by my Mic being not muted, apparently.

So yeah, I'll consider this case solved, thanks everyone. tongue.gif
